It is by attending a vernissage of various collages and assemblages that I fell in love for this mode of expression. I started to dream of producing this kind of work. It took me ten years to begin! I could never have forecasted the satisfaction that their creation would provide me.
Initiated technically by Susane Daviau, is the meeting of colors that fascinates me above all in the production of my paintings. I are basically composed from papers. I like adding images gleaned here and there, pictures I made, bits of fabric or even items picked in the wild. On occasion, I can add a touch of pastel, ink, or acrylic. I preferred the abstract and never gives title to my paintings, preferring to give to the viewer his full freedom of interpretation.
I especially like the work of Lee Krasner, Gustav Klimt, and Guy Garnier, a contemporary French collagist that I discovered on the Net. I feed on their work and I imagine that my unconscious draws to a large extent from it.
